Devils Punchbowl 10km

Hindhead, United Kingdom • 24 Nov 2026

Event overview

This is a guided trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl, a natural amphitheatre and beauty spot in Hindhead, Surrey. The run covers 10km of trails with several climbs and a planned pause at a high point to view the surrounding landscape. Sessions are offered both as sunset runs during the lighter months and as night runs during darker months; night runs use headtorches and take place in a group setting.

Events have been organised regularly since 2018 and were scheduled through 2026. Some listed ticketed dates on the event page were marked as sold out.

Practical details

The meeting place is the Devil's Punchbowl car park in Hindhead; parking is available and fuller directions are provided to participants before each run. The run is led by an experienced trail and ultra runner who also works as a coach and guide; the format is a group run rather than a race. Participants should be able to sustain an average trail pace of about 10 min/mile (6 min/km) for prolonged periods.

A full kit list is provided to attendees. Organisers offer headtorches to trial and have trail shoes available to test. An alcohol-free beer may be offered at the end of the run, subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
