Devil's Punchbowl 10km

This is a guided trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl, a natural amphitheatre and beauty spot in Hindhead, Surrey. The route is approximately 10km. The course uses local trails and includes several hills, with a planned pause at a high point for the views. Runs are organised as either sunset events in the lighter months or night events in the darker months; night runs are led with headtorches in a group setting. The run is led by an experienced trail and ultra runner who is also a running coach and Salomon ambassador.

Meet: Devil's Punchbowl Car Park, Hindhead, Surrey. Some listings reference the National Trust - Hindhead Commons and the Devil's Punch Bowl Cafe as the meeting point. Parking is available.

Cost: £16 per person. Participants should be able to maintain an average pace of about 10 min/mile | 6 min/km on trails for prolonged periods. A full kit list is provided before the event. Silva headtorches and Salomon trail shoes are available to trial. Organisers may offer a complimentary alcohol-free beer at the end of the run, subject to availability.
