Hindhead, United Kingdom • 24 Nov 2026

Event Overview

The Devil's Punchbowl 10km is a guided trail run around the Devil's Punchbowl, a natural amphitheatre and beauty spot in Hindhead, Surrey. The event is organized by Running Adventures.

Run Details

The course covers a 10 km distance on trails. There are two types of runs: sunset runs, which occur during the lighter, warmer months, and night runs, which take place in the darker, colder months and require participants to use head torches. The run is guided, not a race, and the group runs together. Participants should be able to maintain an average pace of 10 minutes per mile or 6 minutes per kilometre on trails for prolonged periods.

Included Services and Provisions

A running guide leads the group. A full kit list is provided. For night runs, head torches are available to trial. Participants receive a free alcohol-free beer from Days Brewing Company at the end of the run, subject to availability. Trail shoes are also available to test if requested during registration.

Location and Logistics

The event starts and finishes at the National Trust's Hindhead Commons and the Devil's Punch Bowl Cafe on London Road in Hindhead. Parking is available, with full details provided before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
