The course loops counterclockwise from the Lake Trail to Rattlesnake Ridge and back.

The event tests endurance with physical fatigue, sleep deprivation, and night running, requiring headlamps or lights. Camping options include tent sites with amenities or parking lot vehicle rest. Five hot meals and snacks are provided throughout the event.
