Dark Valley, Night Trails is a night-time trail running event organised by BigFeat Events at Moors Valley Country Park, Horton Road, Ringwood, Dorset. The event uses a looped 10 km trail along wide, winding, tree-lined paths through the woods on the Hampshire/Dorset border. The course is fully signed with bespoke fluorescent directional markers and is run under headtorch light. Runners may choose to complete one, two or three laps of the 10 km loop.

Race bibs are collected from the registration tent on site. Car parking is in the main Moors Valley Country Park car park and is free. A bag drop tent will be available. Mandatory kit includes a headtorch or chest torch; a backup light is advisable. Runners are advised to wear and carry clothing appropriate for changeable winter conditions and are strongly advised to download the GPX file of the route onto a wearable device, since arrows can be tampered with. Cut-off times are: 10 km - no cut off; 20 km - 3 hours; 30 km - 4.5 hours. Runners can opt to have a tree planted instead of receiving a finishers medal via the Trees Not Tees option.
