Cowboy YETI Trail Run - Bastrop State Park, January 23, 2027
The Cowboy YETI takes place at Bastrop State Park and uses the Lost Pines Trail system on dirt and rocky single-track surfaces. The course is looped; each 20K loop shows about 800 feet of elevation gain. Historic average temperatures range from 40 to 62 degrees.

Mandatory and recommended equipment requirements vary by distance. A water-carrying system is required for all events with a 16-ounce minimum except for the 7K. Ruck entries must carry at least 25 lb. For the 100K, a headlamp is required during dark hours and an emergency blanket is required. Participants must carry a phone at all times.
Aid stations are located on the loop (Yukon at mile 4.4 and 9.4; Main Aid Station at mile 12.5 near the start/finish). Aid offerings include hot and cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice and ice. No drop bags will be shipped due to the short loop; Yukon aid station has no parking and no drop bags. Pacers are allowed only for the final two loops of the 100K.
Parking and spectator access are routed through Mayfest Park with shuttle service to the start/finish area for the shorter distances; 100K participants park inside the state park.
