Cowboy YETI

Cowboy YETI is a trail run at Bastrop State Park in Bastrop, Texas. The event features multiple distances run on dirt and rocky single track trails that use the park trail network and follow a 20K loop pattern beginning and ending at the park refectory. The course shows about 800 feet of elevation gain for each 20K loop.

Distances offered include:

  • 100K
  • 60K
  • 40K
  • 20K
  • 20K RUCK
  • 7K

The event provides aid stations with food and hydration, course marking and support, and oncourse photography. Race gear and awards include event longsleeves, finisher medals for selected distances, age group awards, a 20K ruck patch, a 60K mini buckle, and a 100K finisher buckle and awards. Pacers are allowed for the 100K on the final two loops with a limit of one pacer per participant. Cups are not provided so runners should plan for their own water carrying system. Parking and shuttles are organized so most distances park at Mayfest Park and are shuttled to the start while the 100K uses parking at the park refectory.

Cowboy YETI is part of the Texas Legends Series and contributes toward series finisher designations and series awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
