Course, support and awards
The course uses Bastrop State Park trails on dirt and rocky single-track surfaces. The route is hilly, with about 800 feet of elevation gain per 20K loop. Historic average temperatures are listed around 50-56 degrees. No disposable cups are provided; runners must use a personal water-carrying system. Pacers are permitted on the last two loops of the 100K, with a limit of one pacer per participant.
