Cowboy YETI is a trail race held at Bastrop State Park in Bastrop, TX. The event offers multiple distances on dirt and rocky single track trails and follows a 20K loop that begins and ends at the State Park Refectory.

  • 20K RUCK
  • 7K

The course uses all Bastrop State Park trails and features hilly terrain with about 800 feet of elevation gain per 20K loop. The event provides marked and supported aid stations with food and hydration. The event does not provide disposable cups; participants must use their own water carrying system. Pacers are allowed on the final two loops of the 100K, with a limit of one pacer per participant.

Logistics note: 7K, 20K, 40K and 60K participants park at Mayfest Park and are shuttled to the start. 100K participants park at the Refectory at Bastrop State Park.

Cowboy YETI is part of the Texas Legends Series. Series passes are available until January 20, 2027 and finishing multiple races in the series yields collectible medals and engraved wood slabs. The event issues finisher awards and distance specific items such as finisher medals, a 60K mini buckle, and a 100K finisher buckle.
