Trail Running at Camp Cornhusker

The second annual Corn to Run takes place at Camp Cornhusker, located near Du Bois and Humboldt, Nebraska. This event features off-road courses that wind through wooded trails and rolling hills. The race environment is designed for public participation, accommodating walkers and runners of various ages.

Participants can choose from four distinct distances:

  • 1-Mile Fun Run
  • 5K Trail Run
  • 10K Trail Run
  • Half Marathon (approx. 13 miles)

The 10K course includes approximately 560 feet of elevation gain. The Half Marathon route consists of completing the 10K course twice. Participants receive several items upon entry, including a commemorative t-shirt, a custom medal, and a race packet.

On-site amenities include free parking and restrooms. For those staying overnight, the venue offers tent camping areas and cabins equipped with electricity, air conditioning, and twin bunks.
