Cookridge Community 10K

The Cookridge Community 10K takes place on 17 May 2026 in Cookridge, Leeds. This is the seventh running of the multi terrain 10 km trail event. The course includes a grass hill about halfway and sections that may become muddy after poor weather.

The route starts at the Cookridge Village Scout Hall on Pinfold Lane, goes down the lane and around Pauls Pond in an anticlockwise direction, then enters Golden Acre Park following the park path anticlockwise and passing the nature reserve on the right. The route moves onto grass and climbs toward the Arthington Road car park, follows more trail through woods where runners should look out for roots underfoot, completes a loop of the main path, then makes a clockwise circuit of the lake before retracing back to the finish at the scout hut.

Race headquarters is at Cookridge Village Scout Group, Pinfold Lane, Cookridge LS16 7SY. Facilities listed for the event include water stations, distance markers, toilets and a baggage store; there are no changing facilities or showers. The baggage store is limited so participants are asked to bring a maximum of one bag. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. All participants receive a CC10K t shirt.
