Conestoga Crusher 5K and 10K Trail Races with Kids Trail Race

The event takes place on May 16, 2026 at Kelly's Run Nature Preserve, 257 Old Holtwood Rd, Holtwood, PA 17532. It offers three separate events:

  • Conestoga Crusher 10K Trail Race
  • Conestoga Crusher 5K Trail Race
  • Conestoga Little Crusher Kids Trail Race, about 1.5 miles

The 10K course follows sections of the Conestoga Trail and includes 1,256 feet of vertical gain, creek crossings, steep climbs, and downhill sections. The 5K runs through the gorge at Kelly's Run and crosses creeks with waterfalls and wooded scenery. The kids course uses double and single track trails and includes roots and rocks. Parents, guardians, or older siblings may run with kids for no charge.

All races are professionally chip timed. Race bibs contain timing chips, must be worn on the front, and must not be folded or damaged. Aid stations include a finish line station for all races and a stocked station at the Pinnacle Overlook for the 10K. Finish area will have food and drinks.

Participants must register under their legal name and sign a waiver. Entrants for the 5K and 10K must be at least 10 years old. The kids race is free for ages 12 and under. The event is held rain or shine. Parking at the preserve is limited; carpooling is encouraged and satellite parking is available at 9 New Village Rd. A self-timed 4 miles run in Bel Air as part of the Harford County Running Club Dog Days of Summer Series. The course mixes trail and road, is not stroller friendly, and parking is at Prospect Mill Park.

A night trail relay in Paradise, PA where teams and solo runners try to complete as many loops as possible in about 3 hours and 24 minutes on a marked 2 mile course. Team batons, glow rings, headlamps and on site divisions are used.

A noncompetitive summer trail series in Lancaster County with three morning gatherings and one evening close. Participants pick their own distance, share breakfast and hydration at a Common tent, and may buy single-event or multi-event pass..

Experience a scenic 5 mile trail run through Lancaster County Central Park featuring grass paths and water crossings. Compete for age group awards and enjoy a post race prize raffle in a beautiful natural setting.
