Coldwater In Your Veins

The Coldwater In Your Veins is a last person standing running event. It starts at the Horse Corral at Coldwater Canyon in North Ogden, Utah.

The event involves completing a loop of 7.7 miles with 1200 feet of vertical gain/loss within a 2-hour time limit. A new lap starts every two hours. A runner is disqualified if they do not return to the runner's corral by the start of the next loop. The race requires a minimum of two runners to continue each loop. The winner is the runner who completes one final loop after the second-place runner fails to complete it.

The start and finish are at the same location. Facilities include a pavilion, bathrooms with running water, and a designated 10x10 foot spot in a horse arena for participants to set up a tent, canopy, or personal aid station. The event provides water, electrolyte drinks, and snacks at the pavilion. Participants are advised to bring weights to secure canopies due to potentially strong winds, as stakes are ineffective in the soft, sandy ground of the horse corral.

Crews are allowed at the site throughout the event. Tents can also be set up in the nearby parking lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
