CLTA 5K In Memoriam

The third annual CLTA 5K takes place on July 26, 2026 on the grounds of the Chris Lewit Tennis Academy near Manchester, Vermont. The event features a single running distance of 3.1 Miles on a lap course through wooded trails on the academy property.

The course is made up of repeated laps of approximately 0.75 miles and runs alongside the West River. Runners pass a checkpoint in front of the club several times, which provides multiple viewing spots for spectators. The course is technical through forest trails and follows natural terrain.

Net proceeds benefit veterans charities such as Homes For Our Troops. Many students from the tennis academy are expected to run. The event welcomes children and families and notes on site activities such as river swimming and tubing after the race. All racers receive free T shirts. Spectator and family activities mentioned include picnicking on the grounds and visiting nearby Manchester.
