Clane AC 4 Mile Trail Race

The Clane AC 4 Mile Trail Race takes place in Donadea Forest, Kildare. This event is part of a two-race series organized by Clane AC, which also includes a separate road race in August. Participants can choose to register for either the trail race individually or both events in the series together.

The course leads runners away from the local castle and onto the trails within the forest park. Due to the nature of the terrain, trail shoes are recommended for all participants. The event is open to both walkers and runners. In addition to the main 4 mile trail run, there is a shorter trail event available specifically for U16 participants.

The following distances are available:

  • 4 mile trail run
  • Short course trail run for U16s

Prizes are awarded to the first male and female finishers in the general category. There are also specific prizes designated for the first male and female finishers who are members of Clane AC. Registration for both events in the series includes an event shirt. The venue provides a family-oriented environment within the forest park setting.
