The Cirque Series - Cannon Mountain takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Franconia, New Hampshire (2650 Profile Rd, Franconia, NH 03580). The event offers four entry options: Sport Division, Expert Division, Pro Division (each listed at $99) and Volunteer (free). The race is capped at 500 entries. A State Park fee of $2.00 applies. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before and the day of the race.

Course and rules

The course is located at the north end of Franconia Notch State Park. The route is 6.9 miles long with 3,080 feet of elevation gain, starting at the Peabody Base Area and summiting Cannon Mountain at an elevation of 4,031 feet. Notable sections include the Peabody Slopes, Front5 toward the Aerial Tramway, a steep 2-mile Kinsman Ridge Trail segment with 2,081 feet of gain, Upper Ravine Trail, The Saddle to Mittersill, Skyline, Ridge Run, Dragons Drop, Baron’s Run and Coyote Crossing back to the Peabody Base Area.

The course surface can be steep, rocky, grassy, wet and slippery. Orange flagging will mark the route and competitors must follow the flags. There is a strict cut-off at the Cannon Mountain summit of 2 hours; competitors failing to meet this may use the tramway to descend. Two aid stations plus the finish line will provide Skratch hydration. Timing uses a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib.
