The Cirque Series event takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Franconia, NH (2650 Profile Rd, Franconia Notch State Park). The race distance is 6.9 miles with 3,080' of elevation gain and a summit elevation of 4,031 feet. There are three competitive divisions : Sport, Expert and Pro : plus a Volunteer option. Entry for the competitive divisions is listed at $89 and the race is capped at 500 entries. A State Park fee of $2.00 applies. Timing is by a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib; results are posted 48 hours after the event.

Course, safety and prizes

The course starts at the Peabody Base Area, ascends the Peabody Slopes, crosses the Front5 toward the Aerial Tramway, and includes a steep 2-mile section on the Kinsman Ridge Trail with 2,081 feet of gain before summiting Cannon Mountain. The route continues down Upper Ravine Trail, up The Saddle to Mittersill, then follows Skyline, Ridge Run, Dragons Drop, a short climb on Baron’s Run, and a final descent on Coyote Crossing back to the Peabody Base Area. Every competitor is subject to a strict cut-off at the Cannon Mountain summit of 2 hours; competitors over that limit will take the tramway down.

The organizer provides Skratch hydration at two aid stations and the finish line. The course is described as steep, rocky, grassy, wet and slippery and is marked with orange flagging; participants are asked to follow flagging and course marshals. Prizes are awarded per race in each category (for example, Pro 1st place $1,000 cash) and season standings award belt buckles for top finishers and for competitors who run six Cirque Series races.
