The CircumBurke trail race returns to Victory Hill on November 1. The event is organized by the Victory Hill Trail Club at 2872 Victory Hill Rd, Victory, VT. All event proceeds will be re-invested in trail maintenance on Victory Hill. The Victory Hill trail network will be closed to other recreation on that day. Sponsors named include Dynamic Cycling Adventures, Island Industries, Kate's Real Food, JetBoil, Athletic Brewing, Dirt Church, Typsy Pickle and Vermont Smoke & Cure.

Course, support and rules

The Trail Run is a loop of approximately 17 miles with about 1,800 ft of elevation gain. The course uses Victory Hill singletrack plus some road and cart trail and includes a few short steep rocky sections that require mountain running skills. Mountain bike races share most of the same course except for the final steep technical 1.5 mile descents, which run on separate trails.

Support and logistics include three drink stations with snacks located at roughly five-mile intervals. A food truck will sell meals onsite; those purchases are not included in the entry fee. Each entrant over 21 may receive one Dirt Church beer and Athletic Brewing non-alcoholic beer is available. Victory Hill clothing and beer glasses will be offered for donations to support trail maintenance. Prizes of merchandise are listed for the top three male and female finishers. Results use chipless handtiming by volunteers; unofficial times will be posted later. Leashed dogs are welcome at the event but are not permitted on the trails or racecourse. Volunteers are needed; T-shirts and lunch are provided to volunteers. Registration prices increase by $10 on October 13 and onsite registration costs $10 more.
