The Chilterns Winter 10km is a guided trail run of 10 km (6 miles) that follows paths through the hills and woodlands of the Chilterns. The route includes uphill and downhill sections, tree-lined paths and viewpoints over the Chilterns. The organiser provides technical guidance during the run and assigns a Run Leader to each ability group. Participants are grouped by ability; the organiser recommends being able to run 5 km non-stop.

Logistics and entry

Location is Church Farm Cafe, Aldbury. Parking is available on-site and the start is about a 15-minute walk from the station; the page notes regular trains from London Euston to Tring Station. Facilities at the venue include a cafe, toilets and bag drop. The event is dog friendly when participants use cani-cross equipment; collars are not allowed.
