Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival

The Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival is a community running event held in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on October 3, 2026, at the Arkansas Cross Country Course. The festival supports public high school cross-country programs in Northwest Arkansas and has operated as a 501c3 organization for 38 years. Registrations are considered donations to the nonprofit and the standard policy is that registrations will not be refunded.

The weekend includes a one-mile Pepper Dash on the preceding Friday evening and community races on Saturday. A VIP option is available for certain race entries and for spectators; VIP benefits include a t-shirt, a swag bag, premium parking, a VIP tent, drinks and snacks, and dedicated portable restrooms. After July 1, schools and teams register through a secondary registration site operated by the festival.
