Frozen Toes 5K & 15K

Frozen Toes is an annual cold weather trail run held at Kessler Mountain Regional Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The event features two distances:

  • 15K
  • 5K

Both courses start and finish at the Kessler Mountain Baseball Complex and are approximately 95% singletrack. The 15K course includes multiple technical sections. The event takes place in January and registration for the next edition opens September 1, 2026.

Entry fees listed for the 2027 race include an adult price of $35 for either the 15K or 5K, a youth 5K price of $15, and an optional race T-shirt available for purchase. Registration includes custom participant socks, a finisher medal, hot soup, and a complimentary cold beer for those 21 and older.

Packet pick up is offered the day before and the morning of the race at the Fayetteville Parks Office and at Kessler Mountain near the baseball complex. Timing is provided by an event timing service and a results board will be onsite. Food and drink provided to runners include fruit, bagels, soup, water, Gatorade, coffee, and hot cocoa.
