The 36 Hours of Black Bear is a trail running event held at Shores Lake Recreation Area near Winslow, Arkansas. It features a challenging loop course on the Ozark Highlands Trail's Shores Lake/White Rock spur, with each loop covering approximately 15 miles and over 3,500 feet of elevation gain. Participants can run multiple loops over 36 hours, with the potential to cover up to 120 miles and 28,000 feet of elevation gain.
