Champlain Bridge 5K

The Champlain Bridge 5K with a 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Crown Point State Historic Site, 21 Grandview Drive, Crown Point, NY 12928. Distances offered include:

  • 5K
  • 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk

The 5K follows a scenic cross-country course that moves through trails, roads, and fields. The 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk uses part of the same course. A course map and past results from 2025 are available.

The event is presented with symbolic elements: a lighthouse as a beacon of HOPE and the bridge as a connection to education and support. Awards are offered to 5K participants only.

Registration is noted as opening soon. The listed entry fee is $25.00 and increases to $30.00 after September 1, 2026 at 11:59 pm EDT.

This event raises awareness about online safety in collaboration with the Prevention Team/Safe Harbor Essex County and encourages participation in the NYS Parks Wellness Challenge called "Get Offline, Get Outside." For safety, youth age 15 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver throughout the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
