The Centurion South Downs Way 50km is a challenging non-stop trail race held entirely within the South Downs National Park in Southern England. Starting at Matterley Bowl near Winchester, the 50km course follows the scenic South Downs Way National Trail, featuring rolling hills, ancient forts, picturesque villages, and expansive views across the Weald and the English Channel. The route finishes at Queen Elizabeth Country Park after a fast descent from Butser Hill, with a total elevation gain of about 4000 feet. The event offers four well-stocked aid stations, full medical support, and a fully marked course, with a 9-hour cutoff.
