The Central California Spartan Trifecta Weekend takes place at a vineyard in a region known for wine production. Participants run through rows of grapevines and trails surrounded by the Los Padres National Forest. The environment includes geological features, wildlife, and autumn scenery. This event is noted for being a faster course for the Ultra distance.

The weekend includes an obstacle workshop on the Friday before the races and features the following distance options:

  • Sprint 5K: Includes 20 obstacles and has an average completion time of approximately 1 hour and 32 minutes.
  • Super 10K: Features 25 obstacles on the course.
  • Beast 21K: Consists of 30 obstacles.
  • Ultra 50K: A long-distance event featuring 60 obstacles.
  • Kids Race 1-3km: A dedicated course for younger participants with age-appropriate obstacles.

In addition to the obstacle course categories, the weekend hosts Spartan Trail Races. Spectator access is available for those who wish to view the event from the sidelines. Participants can also register as teams to ensure they begin the course at the same time. The venue is characterized by rugged trails with a landscape that includes both forested areas and open vineyard rows. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
