Cedar City Uphill Ultra - October 10, 2026

The Cedar City Uphill Ultra is a trail running event in southern Utah that consists of three loops of the "C" trail. The course is entirely on dirt and singletrack and passes through vegetation zones that include sagebrush, fir, and aspen.

The route begins at about 6,000 feet and climbs to roughly 8,200 feet. Runners will face approximately 7,500 feet of total elevation gain over the full race. This edition is the inaugural running of the event.

Registration is offered at an early price of $90 and increases to $110 after July 10. Registered participants receive a hand-stamped t-shirt and a sticker as part of the entry package.

The event materials describe a looped trail format with repeated ascents and descents as runners complete the three circuits of the same trail. The course surface is stated as 100 percent dirt and trail, without paved sections. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
