Cedar City Moonwalk 5K

The Cedar City Moonwalk is a nighttime 5K on the East Bench Trail System beneath the Buck Full Moon. The course begins at 1120 West Greens Lake Drive at the LDS Church parking lot pavilion and finishes at West Canyon Park (Ann J. Gardner Park) along the creek. Shuttle service to return racers from the finish to the start parking lot is included with registration. Parking is available at the starting line; parking is not provided at the finish.

Participants receive a timed bib, a glow in the dark race shirt, and goodies at the finish line. Every participant who crosses the finish line receives a medal. Live music, photo opportunities, moon pies and other post race treats are provided at the finish. The finish area includes a foam party element.

One aid station is located approximately halfway on the course and will offer water or electrolyte drinks. Porta Johns, garbage cans, blister and bandage kits will be available at the aid station.

Every runner must register online and wear an assigned bib; unregistered runners are not allowed. Online registration closes on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm and there will be no in person registration on race day. Transfers or deferments for medical reasons are allowed until July 22, 2026 on a limited case by case basis and may incur fees.
