Caveman Challenge 2026
The Caveman Challenge is the 8th annual event held on May 16, 2026 in Whispering Pines Park, Inverness, FL (1700 Forest Dr., 34453). The event supports The Wil-Power Foundation, Inc, a 503 (c) organization that provides educational and wellness opportunities for local communities.
The program is organized into three divisions and combines running, swimming, strength movements, and a short Jeep push. Distinct event formats include:
- CAVEMAN CHALLENGE: 5K, 400 yard swim, 25 meter Jeep push
- TEAM CAVEMAN CHALLENGE: 5K plus swim and deck challenges with shared Jeep push
- MINI CAVEMAN: 5K run or walk plus 25 meter Jeep push
Competition details note a 400 yard swim in a short course pool and strength and plyometric movements performed between laps for the Competitive division. The Team division assigns one member to run and another to swim and perform deck challenges; teammates may both participate in the Jeep push. The Mini division pairs a 5K run or walk with a 25 meter Jeep push.
Registration opens 7/7/2025 and closes 5/3/2026. Entry fees listed are $60.00 for the Caveman Challenge, $90.00 for the Team Caveman Challenge, and $45.00 for the Mini Caveman. Awards include gold, silver, and bronze in male and female categories for the main race, Jeep push best times for male and female, and a first place team award.
