Carson Valley Trails Run the Valley 5k, 10k and Family 2k

The event takes place at James Lee Memorial Park in Carson City, Nevada, and uses new and existing trails in the Carson Valley network. Free parking is available in the park lots. Northern Nevada weather can be variable; participants are advised to dress in layers for warmth.

Distances offered:

10k (6 mile) loop starting at James Lee Park and using Jacks Valley and James Lee loops
5k (about 3.55 miles) loop beginning at James Lee Park on James Lee loops
2k family run using a crushed granite path and short single track trails

Registration for the 5k and 10k includes a one year Carson Valley Trails Association family membership at no additional cost for nonmembers. Current members receive a $10 discount code. T-shirts: tech shirts are provided for 5k and 10k finishers; 2k participants may purchase a t-shirt as an add-on. The 2k is free, welcomes off-road strollers and friendly leashed dogs, and provides a kid's finisher medal to children under 12. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
