The Carson Valley Trails Run the Valley takes place on September 26, 2026, at James Lee Park in Carson City, Nevada. The event is organized by the Carson Valley Trails Association and offers multiple trail distances. Registering for the 5k includes a one-year individual membership to the Carson Valley Trails Association for non-members. Distances offered:

  • 10k - approximately 6 miles, loop beginning at James Lee Park
  • 5k - approximately 3.55 miles, loop beginning at James Lee Park
  • 2k family run/walk - about 2 km, family route beginning at James Lee Park

Both the 10k and 5k start with a 0.25 mile single-track climb and use trails that form the Jacks Valley and James Lee loops. The 2k follows a crushed granite path along the Indian Hills fitness course and returns on single-track trails; the 2k course is all dirt, and off-road strollers and leashed dogs are allowed.
