The 10K route passes through a dog park area where dogs might be off leash. The trails are open to the public, so participants may encounter mountain bikers, walkers, and other runners.

This is a cupless race. Participants should bring a cup, flask, or water bottle. The 5K route has one water station at the halfway point and the 10K hits that station twice. There will be porta potties at the start and a nearby bathroom with running water. The race is chip timed and bibs should be worn on the front.

The 5K and 10K are open to ages 5 and above with a parent or guardian signature; a parent, guardian, or friend is recommended to run with children ages 5 to 10. Awards include Top 3 male and female finishers, age group awards, and medals for all finishers. All runners receive a Cobra Den Series T shirt for the series. There are no refunds or roll over credits. Shirts not picked up will be donated.

Weather in Memphis can be hot, humid, and subject to summer storms. The race director may postpone or cancel the race for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
