CamLynn Marathon and Ultra

The CamLynn Marathon and Ultra is a road and trail event that follows the Fens Way, running from Cambridge toward Ely and Kings Lynn. The route is described as flat and fast and uses local scout halls for start and intermediate points.

Options on the course include:

  • Marathon: Cambridge to 1st Ely Scouts Hut.
  • 50 Mile Ultra: Cambridge to Kings Lynn Lynnsport.
  • 50 Mile Pair Relay: 26 miles + 24 miles.
  • 50 Mile Trio Relay: 10 miles + 16 miles + 24 miles.
  • 100 Mile Ultra.

The event provides full GPS tracking, maps and GPX files, race bibs, first aid cover, generous aid stations and a bag drop. Participants may send their own drink to the final aid station. Finishers receive a medal and a country flag; free photos are provided and there is a communal finish atmosphere.

Age minimums apply by course: marathon 18+, 50 mile 21+, relays 18+, 100 mile 23+. Cutoffs are published for each distance, including a 6.5 hour marathon cutoff, a 14 hour 50 mile cutoff and a 32 hour 100 mile cutoff. A guided *10 km* group trail run at High Lodge in Thetford Forest on 19 July 2026, led at a conversational pace and organised into ability groups. Entry costs £12.50 and parking is charged at £4.

Guided trail runs at High Lodge in Thetford Forest featuring a 10 km route, factual information about the local forest and practical trail-running tips. The sessions use woodland trails with opportunities to spot wildlife.

Day 1 of a 10-day series at Suffolk Running Centre offering distances from 5k to ultra on the Denham Flats route. Parking, a base camp with an aid station and a bespoke daily medal are included; the event is cupless.

An obstacle 5k at Priory Park, Bedford on 25 July 2026 featuring climbs, crawls and muddy obstacles. Organised by Cancer Research UK, it uses staggered wave starts, has basic on site facilities and is not suitable for wheelchair users.
