CamLynn Marathon and Ultra
The CamLynn Marathon and Ultra is a set of road and trail events that follow the Fens Way from Cambridge toward Ely and Kings Lynn. The event starts at the 26th Cambridge Scouts Hall and is described as a flat and fast route that uses established paths between towns.
Event options include multiple distances and relay formats:
- Marathon: Cambridge to Ely, finish at 1st Ely Scouts Hut.
- 50 Mile Ultra: Cambridge to Kings Lynn, track finish at Lynnsport.
- 50 Mile Pair Relay: 26 miles and 24 miles.
- 50 Mile Trio Relay: 10 miles, 16 miles and 24 miles.
- 100 Mile Ultra: full 100 mile option on varied mixed terrain.
The event provides GPS tracking, route maps and GPX files, race bibs, first aid cover and multiple aid stations. Additional services include bag drop, the option to send a personal drink to the final aid station, free finish photos, a finish medal and the display of participants’ country flags. Optional extras are an event T shirt and coach transfers to the start from Kings Lynn or Ely with booking details to be confirmed.
Cut off times are published for each distance: a 6.5 hour marathon cut off, a 14 hour 50 mile cut off and a 32 hour 100 mile cut off. Minimum age limits apply by race: marathon 18 years, 50 mile 21 years, relays 18 years, and 100 mile 23 years.
