Caliente Off Road 5K
The Caliente Off Road 5K is a cross country style off road race held at Long Branch Park in Killeen, Texas on July 25, 2026. The event is part of the Centex Race Series and uses a new course that runs through the park. The race is chip timed.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group, with no duplicate awards. Age groups listed include 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 35-39 and continue up to 70+. An awards ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the race.
Registration details include a fee of $25.00. Online registration opens May 7 and closes July 4, 2026. Race-day registration is available at the race site and requires phone registration with credit card only. Packet pick-up is available July 24 and 25 from 8:00 to 19:00 at the Family Recreation Center, 1700 E. Stan Schlueter Loop, Killeen.
T-shirts and race bags are provided for early registrants; limited T-shirts may be available onsite. All runners in the event receive points toward the series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
