Event

The Cabin Fever Trail Races take place in Webster Park at the Parkview Lodge on February 22, 2026. The event offers two distances on trail terrain.

Distances

  • Long Course: approximately 10 miles (two loops of the short course)
  • Short Course: approximately 5 miles

The final course distances may be adjusted based on trail conditions on the morning of the event. The long course requires participants to complete the first loop within 75 minutes to continue for the second loop.

Course

The course consists entirely of trails through Webster Park, featuring pine trees, hills, and flat sections. Surface conditions may be dry, snowy, icy, or wet. Participants are advised to wear appropriate footwear for winter trail conditions. The use of headphones is not permitted.

Included Items

Registration includes a long-sleeve cotton shirt (guaranteed for those registered by February 8, 2026), post-race food, and online results. All entries are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-deferrable.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup is available on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Fleet Feet @ The Armory in Rochester (155 Culver Rd). Experience a monthly trail running series through the scenic landscapes of Mendon Ponds Park. Each event features timed races of varying distances followed by a social gathering with pizza and drinks.

Medved Madness is a spring trail running party in Mendon Ponds Park. Choose from a long or short course trail race, and enjoy a post-run barbecue feast. All adult participants receive a technical t-shirt.

Experience a series of four mid-week trail races across Monroe County parks with distances ranging from 3.5 to 4.5 miles. Enjoy a low-key atmosphere featuring chip timing and a post-race hot dog cookout.
