Bumble Bee Challenge Day 1 takes place on Saturday 11 September 2027 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth EX8 2QZ. The event is organised by Running Events Devon and carries permit number ARC.
The event uses a Turn Up Get Going system with a flexible start within the event window and is run as a seven hour timed event. Participants complete laps on an accurately measured out-and-back course. Each lap is 5.3 km and the route follows an old disused train line.
