Courses and entry limits

Courses run on trails in Michaux State Forest and include double-track, single-track, creek crossings, mud, roots, rocks, climbs, and descents. The in-person field is limited to 400 participants total: 190 Half Marathon spots, 105 10K spots, and 105 5K spots. There will be no race-day registration. Registration opens January 18, 2026 and closes March 22, 2026 or when races fill; registration by March 22 guarantees a technical shirt for in-person entrants.

Age rules, fees and awards

Age limits apply: the 5K is open to all ages, the 10K is generally 13 and up (younger runners must be accompanied), and the Half Marathon is generally 16 and up (younger runners must be accompanied). Early and regular registration fees vary by distance. Top finishers in in-person races receive handmade medals; finishers receive a laser-etched finisher's coaster.
