Brutal @ Spider Hill

Brutal @ Spider Hill takes place on Saturday 21st November at Spider Hill in Long Valley. Entries close 23:59 on Thursday 19th November. Car sharing is available and a What3words location is provided for the event entrance off Bourley Road, with a short drive up a track to the arena.

The main course is a single lap of approximately 10 km and passes named features including Alligator Swamp, Swan Lake, the Muddy Mile and Duck Pond. The route includes mud, water, marshes and a series of climbs, with a notable view near the 8 km point. A shortened 5 km option was added in 2022; it follows a reduced version of the same terrain with mud, water and hills.

Entry limits and fees vary by distance and by early bird or standard periods. Early bird fees started from 20th April and standard fees applied from 28th September. Juniors are defined as under 18 on race day; minimum ages are 10 for the 5 km and 13 for the 10 km. Current entry counts show places taken for both distances.

If an entrant withdraws before 1400 on the Thursday prior to the event, the entry can be withdrawn online and the amount is credited to the entrant’s account for use at another Brutal event rather than refunded. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
