Event Overview

This is a four-mile run. It benefits the BRRC volunteer program. Participants are encouraged to bring gently used shoes and clothing for donation to high school athletes in the area.

Course Details

The race starts and finishes at the Fish Lake Trailhead, located near the intersection of Government Way and Sunset Highway in Spokane, Washington. The route follows the Fish Lake Trail.

From the Spokane trailhead, the course features a mild uphill grade. A bridge crosses over the I-90 freeway. Trees separate runners from US 195 and later from Cheney Spokane Road. The trail goes through the dry uplands of Eastern Washington, following a historic railroad corridor through the Latah Valley. Runners pass by active rail lines in the area known as Marshall Canyon. Half-mile markers are placed along the route.

Logistics

Check-in and packet pick-up take place on race day at the trailhead. Parking at the trailhead is limited, and car-pooling is encouraged.
