SOWF Ultra

Nine Mile Falls, United States • 6-7 Jun 2026

SOWF Ultra (Canceled)

This event was canceled due to insufficient community support and funding. It had been planned as a multi-day endurance event at Seven Mile Trailhead Airstrip in Nine Mile Falls, Washington, for June 5–7, 2026.

The planned format was a 24 hour endurance run, walk, or jog on a repeated 4 mile loop that included a steep section known as Boat Hill. The route description noted about a 200 ft elevation gain at Boat Hill and roughly 300 ft elevation gain for a full loop. All participant distances would have been recorded and combined to show a total number of miles contributed in support of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Aid stations were to provide free water and electrolytes at the base of the Boat Hill incline and on the southwest loop. There would not have been food or water for purchase. Event staging was to include camping, porta-potties, flag ceremonies, and space for vendors. Basic recovery tools were to be available on site.

Camping was planned to be available on site with a stated fee of $12 per family per night, payable in cash or check at the event. The event information noted a pack-in, pack-out policy, that open fires would follow local fire bans, and that collecting firewood on state park grounds and military reservation is prohibited.
