Course, amenities and beneficiaries

The race is held on park trails. The course can be flat and fast at times and may also include roots, rocks and occasional standing water. The organizer describes generous cutoffs that allow walking or hiking the course. Runners who register by November 8 receive a screen printed tri-blend Bella+Canvas shirt and a handmade award from Ragged Cuts; additional items are included in the swag bag. Post-race food is provided, including bagels, coffee and donuts from a nearby eatery, with maple bacon donuts noted. The Brooksvale Park Gift Fund is a designated charity beneficiary to support park trails and educational programs.
