The Brooklyn Cider House Spiked Apple 5k takes place on April 19, 2026 at Brooklyn Cider House in New Paltz, NY. The event is a chip-timed 5K run/walk, professionally timed and scored by J3 Timing. The course is a two-lap route through vineyard and orchard with cross country-style sections and some uneven footing. The event is open to participants aged 1 to 98.

Details

Registration includes a ring-spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible cider glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, a homemade cider donut, and a pour of cider. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib but do not receive the cider glass or a cider pour. Free finisher photos will be taken at the finish and posted online.

Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in 10-year categories (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+). Age group winners must start with the first group to be eligible and can pick up awards at the registration table on race day. Packet pickup is available the day before at the Warhorse Airplane Hanger in Geneva and on race day at the site.
