Race format
Participants run one loop per hour and must complete each loop within the hour to have it counted. Each runner must be in the starting corral and begin the next loop when the bell sounds. Common aid stations are allowed, but no personal aid is permitted during a loop. Competitors may not leave the course except to use restrooms. No pacers or non-competitors are allowed on the course. Each participant may use a 10' x 10' area for crewing and aid. The last runner to complete a loop within the allotted time is the winner; all others are recorded as DNF with distance covered reported.
Course, location, and facilities
The single loop course runs through South Park/Pollmiller Lake Campgrounds and uses paved bike path, paved road, crushed gravel, and some trail. Course composition is about 80% paved path/road, 10% crushed gravel, and 10% trail/grass, with approximately 175 feet of elevation change per loop. Parking is available near South Park at 61 5th Street. Participants may camp on the soccer field infield near the start/finish on a first-come, first-served basis.
