The Book It for Huntingdon Library is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Alexandria, PA at Rails to Trails Alexandria Trailhead (Alfarata Station), Lower Trail, Alexandria, PA 16611. The Tyrone Race Series is presenting a 5K run, a 2 mile walk, and a kids sprint. Proceeds will benefit the Huntingdon County Library. The library was founded in 1935 and offers print and digital materials, programs, and community events.

The course is an out-and-back on a rolled crushed limestone trail at the Alexandria trailhead. The trail is described as extremely flat. Timing is provided by Miles of Smiles Timing Services. Early registration prices listed include: adults for the 5K and 2 mile - $30; student (18 and under) entries - $20; kids sprint with shirt - $15; kids sprint no shirt - free. Day-of prices are higher for some events. Register by October 31 to be guaranteed a long sleeve shirt. Registration includes a long sleeve shirt and race goodie bag in sizes Youth S-L and Adult S-4XL. In case of cancellation, proceeds will be given to Huntingdon County Library; inclement weather may cause postponement to a later date.
