Event Details

The Bolt Round the Holt takes place on Sunday 26 April 2026 at Alice Holt Forest in Farnham, Hampshire. It is a charity fundraising event supporting GUTS (Guildford Undetected Tumour Screening), an organization focused on bowel cancer early detection and treatment. Since its first race, the event has raised nearly £100,000.

Route and Distances

The course is an undulating forest trail. Runners can choose from four distances:

  • Half Marathon
  • 10k
  • 5k
  • Junior Run

The route is based on a 5k forest trail loop. The 10k consists of two laps, and the Half Marathon consists of four laps of an extended version of the 5k route. Detailed route maps and GPX files are available for download.

Included and Fees

Participants receive a bespoke medal. Trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners. On-the-day entry fees, subject to availability, are:
