Bolt Round the Holt

Bolt Round the Holt is a trail running event at Alice Holt Forest, Bucks Horn Oak, Farnham GU10 4LS, scheduled for 26 April 2026. The event supports GUTS, a charity that works to improve bowel cancer survival through early detection, treatment, equipment funding and research.

The route uses an undulating forest trail based on a 5k loop. Runners follow waymarked forest tracks with repeated laps for the longer distances. Detailed route maps and GPX files are available for the course.

  • 10k: two laps of the 5k loop.
  • 5k: single lap of the 5k loop.
  • Junior Run: short children’s race.

The event description notes that it has become the charity's biggest fund-raising event and that it has raised nearly £100,000 since the first race. Included for entrants are a bespoke medal and trophies or prizes for leading runners. The event is described as a family race day with forest scenery and a friendly atmosphere.
