Bolt Round the Holt

Bolt Round the Holt is scheduled for 26 April 2026 at Alice Holt Forest, Bucks Horn Oak, Farnham, GU10 4LS. The event takes place on forest trails with an undulating surface and attracts local community support. It is organised to raise funds for GUTS, Guildford Undetected Tumour Screening, to help improve bowel cancer detection and treatment.

Distances offered include:

  • Half Marathon four laps of an extended 5k loop
  • 10k two laps of the 5k forest trail
  • 5k one lap of the forest trail
  • Junior Run short distance for younger participants

The route uses a 5k forest loop that is repeated for longer distances. The course is described as undulating and follows forest tracks and trails through Alice Holt Forest. Route maps and GPX files are made available for download.

Included for participants are a bespoke medal and trophies and prizes for leading runners. On-the-day entry fees are listed as Half Marathon £40, 10k £30, 5k £25 and Junior Run £7, subject to availability. Parking is available on site and event information is sent to registered entrants before race day.

A 7 hour lap-based time challenge along the River Thames at Wraysbury with flexible self-paced distances from 3 km up to 50 km, signed course, aid stations, medals, goody bags including vegan options, and distance pins for longer efforts.
