Candy Cane Course Indianapolis

The Candy Cane Course is a Christmas-themed running event taking place in Indianapolis. This event offers multiple participation options including a variety of distances and a virtual race for those unable to attend in person.

Participants can choose from several distinct race lengths:

  • Kids Dash (50m) for ages 10 and under.
  • 1 Mile untimed run.
  • 5k (3.1 miles) timed race.
  • 10k (6.2 miles) timed race.
  • 15k (9.3 miles) timed race.

The 5k, 10k, and 15k events utilize chip-timing to provide live results and categorical awards. Participants in these distances, as well as the 1 mile event, receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. The Kids Dash provides a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a specific finisher medal. A free participation option for the Kids Dash is available for children who do not require the event shirt or medal.

The event includes post-race treats at the finish line and free event photography. A "Volunteer then Run" option is also available, where participants assist with event logistics prior to running their chosen distance at a reduced fee. To ensure shirt availability, registration must be completed by midnight on the Thursday falling ten days before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
