Stocked aid stations are placed along the course with hydration, nutrition, and medical assistance. Available snacks include fruit, cookies, breakfast bars, chips, and soft drinks. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal described as a handcrafted wooden medal with bluebonnet designs. Animals are not allowed at the event. Limited camping sites are available at Turkey Bend Recreation Area and can be reserved through the park reservation system. Same-day packet pickup is offered from 7:00 to 8:30 AM and participants receive a wristband as proof of park entry. Trail conditions and dates align with peak bluebonnet season.
