Event Overview

The Blue Mountain Bash is a 5-kilometer trail run. The 2026 event is its third annual edition. It takes place in the Blue Mountains within the Umatilla National Forest near Pomeroy, Washington.

Course Details

The route is an out-and-back on the North-South Trail, starting at the Boundary Trailhead. The turnaround point is at the Rose Springs SnoPark. The trail is described as wide and rolling. A link to a course preview is provided.

Additional Information

The race is the culminating event for the SoleKids, Pomeroy Spring 2026 season. A free shuttle service from the Pomeroy High School parking lot to the Boundary Campground is included with registration. Shuttles depart at 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with return trips at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

An aid station with water and snacks is located at the Rose Springs SnoPark turnaround. Vault toilets are available at the start/finish area, Boundary Campground, and Rose Springs SnoPark.

All finishers receive a shirt and a medal. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three male and female SoleKids runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
