The course is described as well marked and maintained, with groomed single track, clear signage at turns, taped off incorrect paths, multiple aid stations, and a mix of smooth single track, moderate roots and rocks, and rolling climbs.

Registration includes a custom long-sleeved race shirt, post race food and drinks, live results, awards and a finisher medal. Participants may opt out of the race shirt and upgrade to a hoodie for an additional fee; a hoodie upgrade option is also available for registered participants for an additional fee specified by the organizer.

Refund and transfer policies are stated by the organizer: no refunds within 30 days of the event; earlier requests may be eligible for a 50 percent refund excluding processing fees; entries cannot be deferred to another year; entries may be transferred to another individual for a specified transfer fee and t shirt size changes are not allowed.
