BigSea WATER TRAILS : Element Trail Series, Isle of Purbeck
BigSea is the Water event in the Element Trail Series, held on the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset, with start and finish on the sand at Knoll Beach, Studland. Single‑lap routes run through the Purbeck Hills and along the coast, visiting Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay, Chapmans Pool, Dancing Ledge, Durlston Castle and Old Harry Rocks.

Entry fees range from £42 for the half marathon to £72 for the 54k. The 54k Ultramarathon will also host the Army Individual Trail Running Championship with an AITRC ticket. Canicross entries are not accepted.
Runners must carry at least 500 ml of fluid; hydration vests and handheld soft flasks are permitted. Participants are advised to carry clothing appropriate for changing conditions and to download the GPX route file to a wearable device because on-course arrows can be tampered with. A bag drop tent will be available on the day.
Cut off times are 5 hours for the half marathon and 18 mile, and 9 hours for the marathon and 54k. Aid stations will be well stocked with sweet and savoury snacks, vegan options, water and flat coke; the event operates as a cupless event. Precision Fuel & Hydration supplies PH 1000 at aid stations and 2 PFH gels are available at registration. Classic Element series T shirts are available to pre-order and runners may opt to have a tree planted instead of a finishers medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
