Turkey Shuffle at Indian Springs Park

The Turkey Shuffle is a community running event held in November at Indian Springs Park in Waco, Texas. The event includes in-person and virtual options and uses mixed course surfaces that may include paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Aid stations will be placed on the course to provide water and assistance.

Distances offered:

• Kids Dash about 50 meters for children 10 and under
• 1 Mile untimed, includes a tee shirt and race medal
• 5K (3.11 miles) chip timed with age group awards
• 10K (6.22 miles) chip timed with overall Bigfoot trophies
• Volunteer then Run 5K limited to the first five participants
• Virtual Run 6.22 miles run remotely

All finishers of each distance receive a medal and shirt. The 5K and 10K include standard age group awards and overall trophies for first place male and female; masters winners receive special recognition pins. A costume contest awards a "Biggest Turkey" trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for two future races, a forty dollar HEB gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack.

Packet pickup is offered 1.5 hours before the event and shirts are guaranteed for registrations made at least ten days prior. Snacks and refreshments will be available at the race rally tent and results and awards are posted at the registration tent after finish.
