The Bear Country Night Trek is a nighttime trail event held on the Cameron Park Trails in Waco, Texas, with the start/finish area at Cameron Park Redwood Shelter (2300 Cameron Park Dr, Waco, TX 76708). The event offers multiple distances on dirt and rocky single track trails, with a hilly course that lists about 1,300 feet of elevation gain for the 15K loop.

All participants must wear a headlamp. A water carrying system is required for all distances, with a 16-ounce minimum except for the 5K; ruck participants must also carry the hydration minimum. Aid stations provide cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice. Water stations supply water and ice. Drop bag transportation to aid stations is not provided; drop bags may be left at the start/finish area. Participants who withdraw early must notify race staff at the start/finish area.
The event is part of the Texas Summer Night Series. Race awards and finisher items include a collectible finisher medal, a tri blend tee, first place awards for male and female divisions in each distance, DFL awards for the half marathon, and a ruck patch for ruck finishers.
