Mardi Gras Madness in San Antonio takes place on February 21, 2026 at Pearsall Park, 4838 Old Pearsall Rd, San Antonio, TX 78242. - 10K (6.22 miles) - chip timed.
- Volunteer then Run 5K (3.11 miles) - volunteer before running.
- Virtual Run
Awards for the 5K and 10K include a Bigfoot Trophy for 1st overall male and female, recognition pins for 1st masters (40+) male and female, and age-group awards (1st gold, 2nd silver, 3rd bronze). Age groups include 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
Course and volunteer information
Courses are typically on parks and greenbelts with mostly paved trails and some crushed granite or dirt where unavoidable. Volunteer options include a "Volunteer then Run" role (limited to the first 10 signups, includes bib, shirt, and finisher medal) and non-running volunteer roles with rewards such as a race shirt or a future race entry or a digital gift card.
