Mardi Gras Madness in San Antonio is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Pearsall Park (4838 Old Pearsall Rd, San Antonio, TX 78242). Race details and logistics
The Kids Dash and 1 Mile are non-timed; the 5K and 10K are chip timed. Awards for the 5K and 10K include a Bigfoot Trophy for 1st overall male and female, Masters (40+) recognition pins, and standard age-group award pins (age groups from 10 & under up to 70+; each group awards 1st gold, 2nd silver, 3rd bronze). All distances receive a finisher medal and race tee; shirt sizes are guaranteed when registered at least 10 days before race day.
On-course features include Mardi Gras-themed aid stations, volunteers tossing beads, and a Race Rally Tent with a DJ and finish-line announcements. A costume contest at the start line will name a Grand Marshal and award a prize pack. Packet pickup is offered 1.5 hours before the start; events proceed rain or shine. Volunteer roles are available, including a limited Volunteer then Run option limited to the first 10 signups.
