Event Details
The event features a pre-race costume contest. Judges award a "Day of the Dead Best Costume Award" and a prize package before the races begin. Courses are described as weaving through parks with lakes and trees, and the surfaces may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
A post-race celebration includes live music, Mexican treats, and drinks. Awards are presented live at the finish area.
Registration & Logistics
Packet pickup is available for 1.5 hours before the event start. The Kids Dash starts at 7:55 AM, with all other races starting at 8:00 AM. Results and awards are available immediately after finishing at the registration tent.
All participants receive a t-shirt and finisher medal. The 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon are chip-timed. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are not timed. Age group awards are given for the 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon. Trophies are awarded for first overall male and female finishers in those distances. A shirt size guarantee ends 10 days before the event.
A Volunteer then Run option allows participants to volunteer before and after running their chosen race distance. Separate full-race volunteer roles are also available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
