Big Woods Run

Big Woods Run takes place on September 26, 2026, in Faribault, Minnesota, with the event base at St. John’s United Church of Christ on Jacobs Avenue, located just south of Big Woods State Park. The course combines paved roads and cross-country trails that pass through or alongside the state park during peak fall color, offering views of the southern Minnesota countryside.

The event program includes on-course amenities and post-race food for participants, with homemade cookies and soup provided after the race. Race registration fees are non-refundable and not transferable to another person or race. Walk-up registration is available on race day at Saint John’s United Church of Christ.
