  • 12 km - £32

Course and logistics

Runners leave the track and follow the South Downs Way. The longer route climbs to Cheesefoot Head, continues over Fawley down towards Morestead, completes a circular loop, then returns down Cheesefoot Head and across MOD land at Deacons Hill. From there both distances join the Pilgrims Trail, pass towards St Catherines Hill, then follow the Itchen Way alongside the river back to the track. Organisers advise downloading the GPX file onto a watch or mobile device as arrows can be tampered with. Registration opens on site and bib collection takes place at the registration tent. Car parking is at East Winchester, Barfield Park & Ride, SO23 9PH and is free after 16:00. Cut-off times are 3.5 hours for the 22 km and 3 hours for the 12 km.
