Beyond the Call - Trail Challenge

Beyond the Call - Trail Challenge is a trail running event on July 12, 2026 at Watkins Glen International, located at 2790 County Route 16, Watkins Glen, NY 14891. The event uses natural terrain on the grounds and the course features hills, streams, tunnels, and wooded areas.

The event offers the following distances:

• 3 miles - individual entry or 3-person relay
• 1.5 miles - family friendly course

The 3 mile course may be run by relay teams of three, with each team member covering the full 3 mile loop in sequence. Relay exchanges take place at the start/finish line at a designated exchange point. Team results are based on all three runners completing the course and the hand-offs. Minimum age for the 3 mile event is 13 years. Minimum age for the 1.5 mile event is 6 years.

Registration opens May 4, 2026 and closes May 31, 2026. Fees listed for entries are $120.00 for a 3 person team, $40.00 for the 3 mile individual entry, and $30.00 for the 1.5 mile family friendly entry.
