Belmont Water Dog Run - 9th Annual

The Belmont Water Dog Run is a community supported, student powered event held in Belmont, California on September 26, 2026, at Twin Pines Park (1 Twin Pines Lane). The event offers multiple distances and a virtual option, with course maps provided and subject to change. Road closures and assisted access are planned for race day.

Distances and event types include:

• 5K (no dogs allowed)
• 10K (no dogs allowed)
• 1 Mile - Kid's Fun Run (no dogs allowed)
• 1 Mile - Fido Mile (one owner per dog; additional family members must register separately)
• Virtual Run or Walk

Participants in the 5K, 10K, Kid's 1 Mile, and the Virtual Run or Walk receive a 2025 Belmont Water Dog Run race shirt and medal; registrants may opt out of shirt and/or medal during registration for a discount of $5 per declined item up to $10. Dogs in the Fido Mile receive a bandana. Parent escorts for the Kid's 1 Mile and additional Fido escorts must register separately and do not receive shirts or medals.

Packet pickup is available the day before at Palladino Personal Training and race morning at the event expo next to the start line; participants should bring a photo ID or a pictured ID, while youth and students do not need ID. Cancellation policy offers a future-event credit less a $10 processing fee if requested at least 10 days before the event; credits are nontransferable and valid through the following calendar year, with no refunds.
